The campaign helps parents understand that sharing photos and information about children online can have risks.
Even harmless posts can affect children's privacy, stay online for a long time, lead to cyberbullying or be used by other people without permission.

The initiative combines research, awareness-raising and educational activities through three key pillars: a nationwide study examining the scale and characteristics of sharenting in Poland; a public awareness campaign illustrating the real-life consequences of oversharing children's content online; and educational resources and police-led workshops delivered in schools across the country for parents, students and educators.

The initiative has three main goals:
to learn more about sharenting,
to raise awareness about its risks,
and to educate parents, students and teachers through school workshops and learning materials.

By bringing together telecommunications, child protection and public safety expertise, Status: Shared seeks to foster a culture of more conscious online sharing and stronger protection of children's rights in the digital environment.

The project helps people share more responsibly online and supports the protection of children's rights, privacy and safety on the internet.
